<p align="JUSTIFY"><strong>Résumé.</strong> Derrière l’écran du jeu, du déguisement et de la bouffonnerie, la scène de la Comédie-Italienne devient un lieu de plus en plus polémique, grâce à une satire visant les représentants du pouvoir à la fois dans la sphère publique et dans celle intime, de la famille et du mariage. De nombreuses comédies, jouées à l’Hôtel de Bourgogne, puis publiées dans le recueil <em>Le Théatre Italien</em> d’Evariste Gherardi (1700), mettent en scène des comportements transgressifs relevant du phénomène de la coquetterie chez des personnages féminins en guerre contre l’autorité des pères et des maris. Après plusieurs avertissements, la fermeture de la Comédie-Italienne est décrétée par Louis XIV et les acteurs se voient interdire de jouer à Paris (1697). Dans quelle mesure la mise en scène d’un intime scandaleux, au cœur de ces comédies, peut-elle être considérée un facteur déclencheur provoquant la fermeture de la Comédie-Italienne?</p>

<p align="JUSTIFY"><strong>Riassunto.</strong> Dietro lo schermo del gioco, del travestimento e del puro divertimento, la scena della Comédie-Italienne diventa un luogo sempre più polemico, grazie a una satira rivolta contro i rapresentanti del potere sia nella sfera pubblica che in quella intima delle relazioni famigliari e matrimoniali. Numerose commedie rappresentate all’Hotêl de Bourgogne, e poi pubblicate nella raccolta <em>Le Théâtre Italien</em> di Evaristo Gherardi (1700), mettono in scena comportamenti trasgressivi tipici del fenomeno della coquetterie, da parte di personaggi femminili in guerra contro l’autorità dei padri e dei mariti. Dopo vari avvertimenti, il teatro viene chiuso per ordine del Re Luigi XIV e agli attori viene vietato di recitare a Parigi (1697). In che misura la messa in scena di tali comportamenti scandalosi al centro di queste commedie può essere considerata uno dei fattori determinanti della chiusura della Comédie-Italienne ?</p>

<p align="JUSTIFY"><span lang="en-US"><strong>Abstract.</strong> Behind the screen of a playful theater, mainly aiming at pure entertainment, the scene of the Comédie-Italienne becomes more and more polemical, due to a satire against representatives of power, both in the public sphere and in the private domain of family and marriage relationships. Most of the plays represented in the theater of the Hôtel de Bourgogne, and later published in Evaristo Gherardi recueil <em>Le Théâtre Italien</em> (1700),</span> <span lang="en-US">stage transgressive behaviours typical of the coquetry phenomenon, by feminine characters at war against father and husband autority. After several warnings, this theater is closed at the behest of king Louis XIV, and the actors are forbidden from playing in Paris (1697). To what extent can the staging of such scandalous behaviours central to these comedies, be considered a crucial factor leading to the closing of the Comédie-Italienne ?</span></p>
