<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Résumé. </strong>Cet article se propose de lier les œuvres de Goya présentes dans les collections du Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille – <em>Las Viejas, o El Tiempo</em>, <em>Las Jóvenes, o La Carta</em> et une série complète des <em>Caprichos</em> – selon le fil directeur de la moquerie : celle dont fait preuve l’artiste face à la superficialité féminine. Idéologie des Lumières ou réflexion existentielle, satire sociale ou politique : quels véritables objectifs se cachent derrière ces figures de jeunes et de vieilles coquettes ?</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Resumen. </strong>Este artículo se propone vincular las obras de Goya presentes en las colecciones del Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille – <em>Las Viejas, o El Tiempo</em>, <em>Las Jóvenes, o La Carta</em> y una serie completa de los <em>Caprichos</em> – según el hilo conductor de la mofa: la que caracteriza al artista cuando aborda la superficialidad femenina. Ideología de la Ilustración o reflexión existencial, sátira social o política: ¿cuáles son los verdaderos objetivos que se esconden tras dichas figuras de coquetas, jóvenes o viejas?</p>

Enlightenment ideology or existential consideration? Social or political satire? What are the real objectives hidden behind these characters of young and old coquettes?</p>
