Esa intimidad se encuentra en el centro de intensos debates teol&amp;oacute;gico-espirituales, en un contexto religioso convulso, marcado por la condena de las tesis atribuidas a los &amp;ldquo;alumbrados, dexados y perfectos&amp;rdquo; por el Edicto de Toledo en 1525. El objetivo principal de los Abecedarios osunianos consiste por lo tanto en marcar las diferencias entre la propia doctrina y la del Dejamiento, y en probar la ortodoxia del Recogimiento ―un m&amp;eacute;todo de introspecci&amp;oacute;n espiritual que aspira a la uni&amp;oacute;n sin mediaci&amp;oacute;n con Dios. Con el fin de legitimar su b&amp;uacute;squeda espiritual de amor puro ―entonces sospechosa de presentar afinidades con el alumbradismo―, el franciscano andaluz tiene que establecer con claridad los l&amp;iacute;mites espacio-temporales de la experiencia &amp;iacute;ntima ―potencialmente subversiva― del Recogimiento.&lt;/p&gt;
