Résumé. En Italie, l’histoire a toujours constitué un thème privilégié des arts de la scène, à l’époque du Risorgimento en particulier. Le théâtre contemporain s’est également emparé de problématiques historiques, notamment à travers les pratiques des acteurs-auteurs du théâtre de narration, un « genre » apparu dans les années quatre-vingts. Ascanio Celestini, dont les spectacles s’inscrivent dans cette tendance, évoque ainsi dans Radio Clandestina. Memoria delle Fosse Ardeatine (2000) et Scemo di guerra (2004) le destin du petit peuple de Rome lors de la dernière Guerre mondiale. À travers sa voix de narracteur et selon un point de vue partant du bas, Celestini raconte les pérégrinations de personnages-voix déambulant dans une Rome chaotique, parcourue par les troupes armées étrangères, et qui survivent envers et contre tout dans une obstination anti-héroïque, à contre-courant du temps de l’Histoire majeure. Riassunto. In Italia, la storia è sempre stata un tema prediletto delle arti della scena, particolarmente in epoca risorgimentale. Anche il teatro contemporaneo continua a trattare problematiche storiche, ad esempio attraverso le pratiche degli attori-autori del teatro di narrazione, un «genere» apparso negli anni Ottanta del Novecento. Ascanio Celestini, i cui spettacoli rientrano in questa tendenza, rievoca così in Radio Clandestina. Memoria delle Fosse Ardeatine (2000) e Scemo di guerra (2004) il destino del popolo minuto di Roma durante l’ultima Guerra mondiale. Attraverso la sua voce di narrattore e secondo un punto di vista dal basso, Celestini racconta le peregrinazioni di personaggi-voce che vagano in una Roma caotica, percorsa da eserciti stranieri, e che sopravvivono a tutto, in un antieroismo ostinato, contro corrente rispetto al tempo della Storia. Contemporary theatre also conveys interest in historical issues, through the work of storytelling theatre actors-authors, a « genre » appeared in the 80’s. Ascanio Celestini’s plays belong to that movement and some of them like Radio Clandestina. Memoria delle Fosse Ardeatine (2000) and Scemo di guerra (2004) deal with the destiny of poor people in Rome during the Second World War. Through his narractor voice, and from an ordinary people's perspective, Celestini tells the perambulations of character-voices who wander in a chaotic Rome, full of foreign armies, and who survive everything, in an obstinate antiheroism, against the major History time.
